A cover page is the first page of your proposal — it sets the tone with branded design. Cover page templates are managed separately from quote templates and linked by reference.

Managing cover pages

Navigate to Quotes > Cover Pages to create, copy, edit, delete, and set a default cover template.

Cover page structure

Each cover page has three customizable zones:

Zone

Description

TopContent at the top of the cover (typically company logo, title)
MiddleCenter content (deal name, customer details)
BottomFooter content (date, contact info)

Each zone uses a Handlebars template — the same merge field syntax used in email templates (see Email Templates). This means your cover page can dynamically show the customer name, deal value, quote date, and any other available variable.

Background

Cover pages support:

  • Background color — A solid hex color
  • Background image — A full-page image behind the zone content

Linking to quote templates

A cover page template is linked to a quote template via the template's settings. When a sales rep creates a quote from that template, the linked cover page is applied automatically. The cover can also be changed per quote.
