Product types
Salesbuildr supports several product types to match how IT services are sold:
One-time — Hardware, licenses, or any single-purchase item
Recurring — Monthly or annual subscriptions and managed services
Labor — Time-based billing for project work or hourly services
Bundle — A group of products sold together as a package (see Bundles section below)
Each product type has its own pricing rules, margin calculations, and how it appears on quotes.

Add-ons
Add-ons are optional products attached to a main product. When a sales rep adds the main product to a quote, they're prompted to consider relevant add-ons — increasing deal value without extra effort.
You configure add-ons at the product level or at the category level. Category-level add-ons apply to all products in that category.

Bundles
Set the product type to Bundle on the General Info tab to create a bundle product. Once saved, the bundle management section appears where you add products, set quantities, and configure pricing.
See Bundling for a complete guide to building and managing bundles.
Dynamic pricing
Dynamic pricing automatically derives product prices from distributor feeds using your markup rules. See Dynamic Pricing for setup and configuration.
Product comparison
Compare up to 3 products side-by-side within the same category. Product comparison is available from the category browse page.
The comparison view shows:
Product cards for each selected product
Vendor information and verification status
Category features — checkmarks for each feature the product supports (defined per category)
Custom data points — both vendor-level and product-level custom fields
Specifications — structured spec data grouped by section (e.g., processor, memory, storage)
To add a fourth product, you must replace one of the existing three.

Removing and deleting products
Salesbuildr uses an unlist approach rather than hard-deleting products. This is intentional: any product that has ever appeared in a quote or contract must remain traceable so the historical record of those documents stays accurate.
Never used — Products that have never been added to a quote or contract show a delete (trash) icon in the Actions column of the Not Listed view. These can be permanently deleted.

Previously used — Products used in at least one quote or contract do not show the delete icon, because removing them would break the historical record of those documents. Unlist them instead.
Deleted in your PSA — Removing a product in your CRM/PSA (e.g. Autotask) does not automatically remove it from Salesbuildr. If you no longer need it, unlist or delete it manually in Salesbuildr.
Notes
Internal notes can be attached to product records. Use them to capture sourcing notes, special pricing context, supplier agreements, or team knowledge about a product.
Navigate to a product detail page and find the Notes section to view or add notes. Notes are internal and not visible to customers.
