Salesbuildr lets you quote and transact in multiple currencies. Exchange rates update automatically each day, so you can serve customers worldwide without manual rate management.

Where to configure multi-currency

  1. Go to Settings > Financial > Pricing Rules.

  2. You'll find two key settings here: Default currency and Enabled currencies.

For a screenshot of this page, see Financial.

Set your default currency

Your Default currency is the base currency for your entire account. All exchange rates are normalised against this currency, and it's used as the reference point for all conversions.

  1. In Pricing Rules, locate the Default currency field.

  2. Select your base currency (for example, EUR, GBP, or USD).

  3. Save your changes.

This setting applies across all your opportunities and quotes.

Enable additional currencies

Once you've set your default currency, you can enable any other currencies you need for quoting.

  1. In Pricing Rules, find the Enabled currencies section.

  2. Select the currencies you want to make available for quoting.

  3. Save your changes.

You can enable as many currencies as you need once the multiple currencies feature is enabled for your tenant.

How exchange rates work

Salesbuildr pulls exchange rates automatically from the European Central Bank (ECB) once per day. Rates apply to all currencies across your account.

You don't need to do anything to keep rates current. The system handles updates automatically in the background.

Rates are standardised and cannot be manually overridden. If you have specific rate requirements, contact support to discuss your options.

Set currency-specific product prices

Once you've enabled multiple currencies, you can configure individual prices for each currency on your products. This lets you adjust margins or pricing strategy by market if needed.

  1. Go to Products and select a product.

  2. Click Edit and open the Pricing tab.

  3. In the Pricing section, use Add fixed currency exchange price to set a price for each enabled currency.

  4. Save the product.

For a screenshot of the product pricing section, see Product Detail.

When you create a quote, you'll be able to select which currency to use, and products will pull through with their currency-specific prices.

Next steps

After multi-currency is configured, you can create quotes and opportunities in any enabled currency. Your customers will see pricing in their preferred currency.
