Westcon-Comstor (New Zealand)

Westcon-Comstor supplies hardware and software pricing to New Zealand MSPs via an automated email feed. Salesbuildr imports products, customer pricing, RRP, and stock or ETA availability from the zip attachment Westcon sends each day.

Prerequisites

• An active Westcon-Comstor account in New Zealand

• Your Customer ID from Westcon (for example 0001005188)

• Permission to manage distributor connections in Salesbuildr (Settings > Distributors)

Request the feed from Westcon

1. Email csr.nz@westcon.com and request the automated customer price list feed by email.

2. Ask Westcon to send the feed to:

   distributor-hub+YOUR_CUSTOMER_ID@salesbuildr.com

   Replace YOUR_CUSTOMER_ID with your Westcon customer ID. For example, if your ID is 0001005188, the address is distributor-hub+0001005188@salesbuildr.com.

3. Confirm Westcon will send from customerpricelist@westcongroup.com (the sender address Salesbuildr matches when importing).

Add the connection in Salesbuildr

1. Go to Settings > Distributors > Connections and click Add Connection.

2. Select New Zealand as the market, then choose Westcon-Comstor.

3. Enter your Customer ID in the connection form.

4. Click Add Connection, then use Verify to confirm Salesbuildr can read the latest email attachment.

Feeds can take up to 24 hours to appear after Westcon starts sending. The last updated timestamp on the connection shows when Salesbuildr last imported a new file.

What Salesbuildr imports

The zip attachment contains a CSV with product catalog, pricing, and availability:

When QOH is zero and an ETA_DATE is present, Salesbuildr shows incoming stock using your Include incoming stock days threshold setting under Distributors.
