Working with Microsoft CSP products
Salesbuildr does not connect to Microsoft Partner Center. Use Pax8, CloudFactory, or KPN / RoutIT for Microsoft NCE and CSP licenses, or create custom products as a fallback.

Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) licenses β including New Commerce Experience (NCE) subscriptions such as Microsoft 365 β reach Salesbuildr through a connected cloud distributor, not through Microsoft Partner Center.
No Microsoft Partner Center connection
Salesbuildr does not connect to Microsoft Partner Center. There is no Partner Center card under Settings > Integrations, and Salesbuildr does not import your Partner Center catalog, customers, or subscriptions on its own.
To quote Microsoft CSP products, connect one of the distributors below or create a custom catalog product when none of those distributors apply.
Which distributors support Microsoft NCE / CSP
Connect the distributor you already buy Microsoft from at Settings > Integrations > Manage. After it is connected, its catalog appears as a tab on the Products page.
KPN / RoutIT is available only when your primary company is not in the United States. Pax8 and CloudFactory are available regardless of region.
On CloudFactory, the company Contracts tab also needs Autotask connected. You can still match a company from Manage Company without that tab.
Connect a distributor
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Manage.
- Open the Pax8, CloudFactory, or RoutIT / KPN card.
- Complete the connection for that distributor.
Setup differs for each one:
- Pax8 β authorize Salesbuildr in Pax8, then choose a currency.
- CloudFactory β sign in to CloudFactory, copy the refresh token from the authorization response, and paste it into Salesbuildr.
- KPN / RoutIT β send Grexx credentials to Salesbuildr support and whitelist Salesbuildr IPs, then enter your platform, username, password, and URL parameter.
Link Microsoft products into your catalog
Each distributor runs a daily catalog sync. CloudFactory does not import products the moment you connect β wait for that first overnight import (around 2:30 AM) before the CloudFactory tab has rows.
- Open Products and select the Pax8, CloudFactory, or KPN / RoutIT tab.
- Search for the Microsoft product (for example Microsoft 365 Business Premium).
- Click Link product (or Link on Pax8).
- Choose a category and the billing and commitment variants your team should sell.
- Add the linked product to a quote like any other catalog item.
Pax8 and CloudFactory keep billing term (how often the customer is charged) and commitment term (how long they commit) as separate variants. A monthly-billed 1-year commitment is a different option from an annual-billed 1-year commitment.
KPN / RoutIT products are linked with a monthly billing term by default, even when the Microsoft license is annual. If you are quoting an annual NCE license, set Term on the product or quote line to match the commitment you will fulfill.
Match the Salesbuildr company to the distributor customer if you want to see existing Microsoft subscriptions on the company Contracts tab.
Custom products as a fallback
If you do not use Pax8, CloudFactory, or KPN / RoutIT β or the SKU you need is not in that catalog β create a custom catalog product and enter the prices yourself.
Custom products do not pull live Partner Center pricing, do not show Microsoft subscriptions on the company page, and cannot be ordered from Salesbuildr. Use them so your team can still quote Microsoft licenses. After the quote is approved, create or change the subscription in Partner Center or your CSP distributorβs portal.
Create a service from the catalog
Microsoft NCE / CSP licenses are recurring subscriptions, so create a service rather than a one-time product:
- Go to Products.
- Click Create service.
- Fill in Name and a short description (for example βMicrosoft 365 Business Premiumβ).
- Assign a category so the item appears in search.
- Set Manufacturer to Microsoft (create the manufacturer company if it does not exist yet).
- Optionally add the Microsoft SKU as the MPN so reps can find it later.
- In Pricing, set Cost Price (your partner cost), Sell Price (what the customer pays), and Term (monthly, annually, or another period that matches the license).
- Turn Listed and Can be sold on, then save.
Then add the service to a quote from product search. The Create new product link in the quote editor creates a one-time product β that is the wrong type for a subscription license.
To load many Microsoft SKUs at once, use a CSV import. Prices you enter stay as you set them β they do not refresh from Partner Center.
If a PSA is connected, new products created in Salesbuildr are sent to the PSA so the same license can be used after the quote is won. Only service (recurring) lines can be pushed to PSA contracts.
After the quote is approved
- Pax8-linked products β place the order from Salesbuildr. See Pax8.
- CloudFactory-linked products β fulfill the subscription in CloudFactory.
- KPN / RoutIT-linked products β fulfill the subscription in KPN or RoutIT.
- Custom products β create or change the subscription in Microsoft Partner Center or your CSP distributorβs portal. Salesbuildr does not provision Microsoft licenses.
