Connect KPN or RoutIT cloud services — regional integration for NL/BE markets.

KPN and RoutIT are Dutch telecom and cloud marketplace integrations that connect to Salesbuildr via the Grexx partner API. Once connected, your team can browse cloud and connectivity products, link them to your catalog, match companies to their RoutIT/KPN customer accounts, view active contracts, and check internet availability by zipcode. Products appear under Products > Cloud Marketplaces > KPN.
This integration is only available for non-US tenants.
Setup
Navigate to Admin > Integrations > Manage and find the KPN / RoutIT card.
- Select the platform: RoutIT or KPN — both use the same underlying API but with different endpoints
- Enter your username and password (provided by your RoutIT/KPN account manager)
- Enter the URL parameter — this is your partner identifier in the Grexx API. You can paste the full URL from your account manager; Salesbuildr extracts the parameter automatically
- Set a default vendor for imported products
- Click Verify to test the connection
Once verified, Salesbuildr runs an initial product sync and then refreshes daily at 4:30 AM.
Browsing and linking products
Open Products > Cloud Marketplaces > KPN to browse the product catalog. Use the filters to narrow by:
- Linked / Unlinked — whether the product is already in your Salesbuildr catalog
- Product group — e.g., Cloud, Connectivity
- Product type — the commercial product category
- SLA level — the service level agreement tier
Each product shows its code, name, gross price (RRP), net price (your cost), discount percentage, setup costs, cancellation costs, SLA level, and contract duration in months.
Linking products
There are two ways to link products:
- Automatic linking — Click Map products to automatically match all Salesbuildr services that have a manufacturer part number matching a RoutIT/KPN product code. This is useful for initial setup when you already have products in your catalog.
- Manual linking — Click Link product on an individual product. You can search for an existing service in your catalog or create a new one. New products are pre-filled with the RoutIT/KPN name, code, default vendor, and monthly billing term.
Linked products use RoutIT/KPN pricing as a fallback — the gross price becomes the sell price and the net price becomes the cost. If you set a custom markup on the product, your markup takes priority.
Pricing
Each RoutIT/KPN product carries several pricing fields:
All prices are in EUR. Salesbuildr converts them to your tenant currency automatically.
Linked products are set to a monthly billing term by default, matching the typical telecom subscription model. The contract duration (in months) is stored as part of the product data.
Company matching
Link your Salesbuildr companies to their RoutIT/KPN customer accounts to view contracts and subscriptions. There are three ways to match companies:
Manual matching
On a company detail page, open the RoutIT linking panel and search for the customer by name or customer ID. Select the correct match to create the link.
Custom field mapping
In Admin > Integrations > RoutIT, you can map a company type to a custom field that contains the RoutIT/KPN customer ID. Once configured, Salesbuildr automatically links companies that have this field filled in. This also triggers on new company creation and updates — whenever the mapped field changes, the RoutIT link updates automatically.
Bulk sync
After setting up the custom field mapping, click Synchronize to process all existing companies at once. This finds every company with the mapped company type and links it to the matching RoutIT/KPN customer.
Contracts and subscriptions
Once a company is linked to a RoutIT/KPN customer, you can view their active contracts. Each contract shows:
- Product name and product group (e.g., Cloud, Connectivity)
- Quantity and order status
- Dates: created, activated, modified, and termination date
- SLA level
For Cloud products (e.g., Microsoft 365 licenses), Salesbuildr also fetches the subscription end date from the API — giving you visibility into when each license renewal is due.
Contracts are cached for one hour. Click Refresh on the company page to pull the latest data. Terminated contracts are automatically hidden.
Zipcode availability check
From the quote editor, open the actions menu and select Zipcode check to verify internet availability at a customer address. This feature checks which telecom suppliers can provide service at a given Dutch address.
The check returns a table of suppliers showing:
- Availability status (available, not available, or limited)
- Available speeds and technologies (fiber, DSL, cable)
- NLS type classification
- Additional remarks per supplier
The zipcode check is only available for addresses in the Netherlands.
Price sync
Salesbuildr runs a daily sync at 4:30 AM that fetches all products from RoutIT/KPN and updates pricing. Products that are no longer available in the RoutIT/KPN catalog are removed from the index. An initial sync runs immediately when you first enable the integration.
