Once your PSA has synced and your workspace is provisioned, here's how to get oriented and create your first proposal.
Navigating Salesbuildr
After logging in you land on the Dashboard — an overview of recent activity, pipeline metrics, and quick actions.
The main navigation areas:
Dashboard — Recent activity, pipeline metrics, setup progress, and quick actions.
Products — Your product catalog. Products sync from your PSA and distributor feeds. Set pricing rules and organize with categories.
Opportunities — Your sales pipeline. Each opportunity holds one or more quotes. Track deals from prospect to closed.
Quotes — The quote editor. Drag-and-drop widgets, add products, apply templates, and preview the customer-facing document.
Companies — Synced customer accounts with associated contacts and quotes.
Contacts — Contact records linked to companies.
Settings and admin controls are in the workspace menu (admin users only): integrations, users, email, approval workflows, and branding.
Creating your first quote
Open Opportunities and click New Opportunity. Select a company from your synced customer list and give the opportunity a name — for example, "Acme Corp — Network Upgrade".
Click New Quote inside the opportunity. Choose a template — the default template is a good starting point.
Add products from your catalog. Use the product picker to search and add line items. Set quantities and check the pricing — you'll see cost, price, and margin for each line.
Arrange the layout. The editor uses drag-and-drop widgets: text blocks, product tables, images, terms and conditions, and more. Rearrange sections to match your proposal style.
Preview the quote. Switch to presentation view to see exactly what the customer will receive — a professional, branded document.
Send or save. Send via email for review and e-signature, or save as a draft.

How data syncs with your PSA
Salesbuildr performs an initial sync when your PSA integration is enabled. It will never delete companies or contacts in your PSA — records removed in Salesbuildr are marked inactive and can always be reactivated.
If you're currently using another quoting tool, you can run Salesbuildr alongside it while you evaluate — it won't affect your existing workflow.
