Dashboard overview

The dashboard is the first page you see after signing in. It greets you by name and provides a scrollable overview with quick actions, insights, and links to your work.

The top of the page shows the Finish Actions checklist (for new accounts), quick-action cards, and the start of the My Summary section with opportunity KPIs.

Note: The New Contact shortcut only appears in standalone mode (no PSA connected). When a PSA integration is active, contacts are managed through your PSA.

Which actions appear depends on your permissions.

Setup checklist (new accounts)

New accounts see a Finish Actions section guiding you through initial configuration:

  1. Configure PSA Integration

  2. Before Your First Call

  3. Customize Styling

  4. Configure Dynamic Pricing

  5. Configure Email (domain, templates, signature)

The checklist adapts based on your configuration. Additional items may include:

  • Configure default settings — Set default fields for opportunities and quotes after connecting your PSA
  • Activate your first distributor — Connect to a distributor for product pricing and availability
  • Autotask product synchronization — Enable product sync from your Autotask instance (Autotask only)
  • Enable webhooks — Set up real-time event notifications from your PSA (Autotask only)

The email setup step uses a 3-step wizard: configure your sending domain, customize email templates, and set up your email signature.

This section disappears once the steps are completed.

Summary and insights

The main dashboard content is organized into these sections:

Summary target: Use the dropdown next to the heading to switch between views:

  • My Summary — Your personal activity

  • My Team Summary — Activity across your team members (visible if you have team members assigned)

  • Company Summary — Activity across the entire organization (visible to admins)

All insight cards filter based on this selection.

Each card shows the count, total order value, and percentage change compared to last month. Click any card to navigate to the matching quote list.

Whitespace insights (if the whitespace module is enabled):

  • Expiring contracts this quarter — links to the Whitespace & Upsell page

  • Underbilling customers — links to the whitespace grid with underbilling filter

Custom dashboard tiles

Admins can add up to 6 custom link tiles to the dashboard. These appear in the Links section at the bottom of the dashboard.

Each tile has:

  • Name and optional description

  • Icon from the icon library

  • Link — A static URL or a dynamic link populated from a PSA custom field (UDF)

  • Company whitelist — Control which companies see the tile

Custom tiles are useful for linking to internal tools, training portals, or PSA-specific pages that vary per customer.

Favorites

If your company has a favorites list configured, the dashboard shows a Your favorites section with up to 4 products from the list. Click See all to browse the full product catalog.

Admins configure the favorites list per company. This is useful for surfacing frequently quoted products directly on the dashboard for quick access.

Latest articles

When the articles feature is enabled, the dashboard shows a Latest Articles section with the 3 most recent news items. Click See all to view the full articles page.

This section is controlled by the articles tenant feature and the Show articles on dashboard setting in Admin > Site.

Navigation differences

The dashboard adapts based on user type:

  • Internal users (MSP) see the full dashboard with all sections

  • Customer users see a simplified view — opportunities, bundles, and articles sections are hidden

Whitespace module: See Whitespace & Upsell for the full whitespace grid, contract expirations, and contract items documentation.
