Placing orders

  1. A quote is approved and ordered

  3. Review order details and confirm
  4. Salesbuildr submits the order to the distributor API
  5. Order status is tracked in the procurement view

For the full workflow, see Procurement.

Order status tracking

After placing an order, Salesbuildr tracks status through the distributor API including acknowledgment, shipping, and delivery tracking. Order history is visible per quote in the procurement detail view.

Troubleshooting

  • Order configuration not showing — Only Ingram Micro and TD Synnex have order fields.
  • Order submission fails — Verify ordering credentials and that your account has ordering permissions.
  • Order stuck in queue — Check for error messages. Common issues: invalid customer number, expired OAuth tokens, product unavailable.
