Distributors

Salesbuildr connects to 52 IT distributors across 8 regions to automatically pull product pricing, stock levels, and catalog data into your tenant.

What distributors provide

Capability

Description

Pricing feeds

Automated cost price updates from distributor catalogs, typically refreshed hourly.

Stock levels

Real-time or near-real-time inventory counts for in-stock/out-of-stock status.

Catalog data

Product names, descriptions, MPNs, and EAN codes from distributor catalogs.

Direct ordering

Place orders directly through Salesbuildr to Ingram Micro and TD Synnex. See Ordering from Distributors for setup details.

Managing distributor connections

Navigate to Admin > Distributors to manage your connections. The admin interface has three tabs:

Tab

Purpose

Priority

Drag and drop distributors to set the priority order. The highest-priority distributor's price is used by default when a product is available from multiple sources.

Connections

Add, edit, test, and remove distributor connections. Each connection is market-specific.

Mapping

Link distributor connections to specific companies for company-specific pricing.

Global pricing settings

Settings at Admin > Platform that affect distributor data:

  • Cheaper distributor threshold — Minimum percentage difference before switching to a cheaper distributor's price

  • Stock days — Number of days of stock to consider a product "in stock"

  • Outdated price days — Number of days after which a distributor price is considered stale
